State Competitions
In addition to 15 Regional-level competitions, Special Olympics New Hampshire hosts seven statewide competitions every year. These sporting events vary in size and venues.
Winter Games The Winter Games bring together nearly 500 athletes and Unified Partners to compete in the sports of Alpine Skiing, Cross-Country Skiing, Snowboarding, Snowshoeing and Floor Hockey.
Basketball Tournament The SONH Basketball Tournament is one of the largest events we hold. The tournament brings together over 750 athletes and Unified Partners participating in full court, half court and Individual Skills competition.
State Soccer Tournament The SONH soccer tournament offers competition for over 150 athletes and Unified Partners.
Summer Games The Summer Games is the culmination of the summer season and with over 950 athletes and partners competing. The Summer Games are the largest Special Olympics event in New Hampshire offering competition in: Athletics (Track & Field), Aquatics, Bocce, Cycling, Equestrian, Powerlifting and Tennis.
Golf Tournament The Golf Tournament offers competition for athletes and partners in 18 hole, 9 hole and 5 hole competitions as well as Individual Skills competition. The State Golf Tournament hosts approximately 160 athletes and partners annually.
Softball Tournament The Softball Tournament offers competition in Unified Softball and Individual Skills competition.
Fall Games The Fall Games offer competition in five sports including Candle Pin Bowling, Ten Pin Bowling, Cross-Country Running, Cycling and Volleyball. The Fall Games are the final competition of the calendar year and more than 850 athletes and Unified Partners compete in the one day event.
