Coach
Volunteer Coaches are a critical component of Special Olympics New Hampshire. A coach works directly with the athletes to improve their skills in specific Special Olympics Sports. Coaches serve as role models and character builders, giving Special Olympics athletes awareness of their worth, ability, courage and capacity to grow and improve.
Volunteer coaches do not need prior experience – we provide the necessary training and resources. To be a Special Olympics coach, all you need is a desire to help others and a lot of enthusiasm. Head coaches must be 18 years or older, while teens from the ages of 14-17 can be assistant coaches.
