In case you missed it, Special Olympics New Hampshire is selling tickets right now for the Pick-Your-Prize Raffle. Prizes include a backyard shed from Reed’s Ferry Sheds, a 4-burner grill and backyard fire pit from The Stove Shoppe, and up to $5000.00 worth of patio or hardscape work in your backyard.

If tricking out your backyard isn’t your thing, any prize can be swapped for a $2500.00 cash option. Each ticket is just $20 and only 3000 tickets will be sold so your odds are pretty good.

Our partners with The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics New Hampshire have been the driving force behind the ticket sales, and a couple of individuals have surfaced as ticket-selling machines.

Nashua Police Chief Michael Carignan and Manchester Assistant Fire Chief Brendan Burns top the leader board for most ticket sales. Chief Carignan has sold 191 SONH Pick-Your-Prize raffle tickets while Assistant Chief Burns has sold 101.

Both men have deep connections to New England Fusion Fastpitch Softball in Londonderry, New Hampshire. New England Fusion has been involved with the Special Olympics New Hampshire State Softball Tournament for the past three years and has hosted the tournament the last two years.

The “Fusion Family” has made the tournament a big hit with the athletes of Special Olympics New Hampshire and has been helping with the Pick-Your-Prize Raffle by both selling and purchasing tickets. SONH appreciates all that Chief Carignan, Assistant Chief Burns and Fusion Fastpitch do for the athletes of Special Olympics New Hampshire.

Tickets are on sale now by clicking here or contacting Dave Bailey at DaveB@sonh.org or call 603-620-5274.

Drawing will be live on WSMN Radio, Nashua (1590AM/95.3FM) on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at 8:30 AM.
