The Director, Fundraising Events & Grants is responsible for the development and management of all aspects of the Winter Water Sports (WWS), SONH’s largest fundraiser.  This includes multiple events, including but not limited to the Prep School Plunge, High School Plunge, Penguin Plunge, Cool School Winni Dip, Law Enforcement Winni Dip, MEGA Dip and Community Winni Dip.  The Director will not only oversee these events but will be responsible for marketing the Penguin Plunge and Community Winni Dip.  This position also researches, applies for and reports on grants and will work with our Local Programs (teams of athletes across the State) with fundraising ideas and/or events in their geographic area.

The position is a part of the development department, which is responsible for raising money.
