TL;DR
- NO PLUNGING this weekend. Due to dangerously cold conditions, there will be no water entry Saturday or Sunday. This is for your safety.
- The party is ON. Check-in will take place at the Ashworth by the Sea Hotel. Music, food, awards, and all festivities will happen indoors at the Casino Ballroom.
- Please tell us your plans. If you’re not attending because of this change, fill out the form so we can mail your incentive to you.
🚨 NO PLUNGING THIS WEEKEND 🚨
Due to dangerously cold temperatures, there will be NO plunging into the water on Saturday or Sunday.
Hampton Fire and Rescue has made the decision that it is not safe for anyone to enter the water either day. This decision is final and is being made entirely for the safety of all plungers and the first responders who support this event. There will be no contact with the ocean, even for those who are onsite.
🎉 The Celebration Is Still ON
While the plunge itself is canceled, Plunge Weekend is still happening indoors:
- Check-in: Ashworth by the Sea Hotel
- All other festivities: Casino Ballroom (music, food, awards, and all the Plunge Weekend fun, inside and warm)
We’re turning Plunge Weekend into a high-energy indoor celebration, just without the icy dip.
