Dining for a Cause
The Applebee’s x Special Olympics New Hampshire Promotion Is Here
May 6, 2026
Something exciting is happening at Applebee’s locations across New Hampshire and it’s bringing communities together one meal, one selfie, and one athlete story at a time.
May 11th through June 21st, every New Hampshire Applebee’s location is teaming up with Special Olympics New Hampshire to support local athletes and create opportunities for inclusion, friendship, competition, and confidence-building across the state.
And this year, the athletes are front and center. Literally.
Walk into your local Applebee’s and you’ll find a life-sized poster featuring a Special Olympics New Hampshire athlete from that community. These athletes are bowlers, swimmers, basketball players, runners, coworkers, classmates, teammates, and leaders. They represent the heart of Special Olympics and the power of being seen, celebrated, and supported.
How the Promotion Works
Throughout the campaign, guests can support Special Olympics New Hampshire right at their table. Donations can be added directly to your bill using a credit card, made with cash or check, or completed in seconds by scanning a QR code to donate through Venmo. Quick, easy, and every dollar helps create opportunities for athletes across New Hampshire.
It’s a dinner out that turns into something much bigger.
Find Your Local Athlete
One of the most fun parts of this year’s promotion is spotting the athlete featured at your local restaurant.
We’re encouraging everyone to:
- Visit their neighborhood Applebee’s
- Find the athlete poster inside the restaurant
- Snap a selfie with the poster
- Share it on social media and tag Special Olympics New Hampshire and Applebee’s
Think of it as a statewide scavenger hunt powered by mozzarella sticks and community spirit.
Whether you know the athlete personally or are meeting them for the first time through their story, every photo helps spread awareness and celebrate inclusion in a visible, joyful way.

Tip-A-Cop Nights Are Coming Soon
In the coming weeks, local law enforcement officers and Special Olympics athletes will also be heading into restaurants for special Tip-A-Cop nights.
During these events, officers and athletes will greet guests, share stories about Special Olympics, encourage donations, and help create an unforgettable atmosphere inside the restaurants.
Guests will have the chance to meet athletes from their community, connect with local law enforcement, and support a cause that changes lives across New Hampshire.
Specific Tip-A-Cop dates and locations will be announced soon, so stay tuned!
More Than a Promotion
At its core, this partnership is about visibility, connection, and community.
For athletes, seeing themselves represented inside a restaurant in their hometown is powerful. For families, it’s a moment of pride. For customers, it’s a reminder that inclusion belongs everywhere, including over burgers and boneless wings on a Tuesday night.
So the next time you’re deciding where to grab lunch, dinner, or a late-night appetizer run, consider making it an Applebee’s trip with a purpose.
Support your local athletes. Find the poster. Take the selfie. Be part of something bigger.
