Applebee’s Tip-A-Cop Nights Are Officially Underway
May 26, 2026
Athletes were greeting guests at the door, conversations were happening around the restaurant, and for one night in Keene, Special Olympics New Hampshire athlete Patrick Moynihan might have been the most recognizable face in the building.
That’s because hanging proudly inside the Keene Applebee’s is a life-sized poster featuring Patrick himself, welcoming guests as part of the statewide Applebee’s promotion benefiting Special Olympics New Hampshire now through June 21.
And during the very first Tip-A-Cop night in Keene, Patrick got the chance to pose with his larger-than-life poster like the hometown celebrity he is.

It was the perfect kickoff to what promises to be an exciting series of Tip-A-Cop events happening at Applebee’s locations across New Hampshire over the next several weeks.
Through the promotion, local law enforcement officers and Special Olympics New Hampshire athletes are teaming up to welcome guests, share stories, and invite the community to support inclusion and opportunity for athletes across the Granite State. Guests dining during Tip-A-Cop nights are encouraged to make a separate donation to Special Olympics New Hampshire while enjoying a meal at their local Applebee’s.
But these nights are about more than fundraising.
They’re about connection.
They’re about athletes proudly representing their communities, officers building relationships with the people they support, and guests getting the chance to meet the faces behind the movement. Every restaurant has its own athlete featured on a life-sized poster, and throughout the promotion athletes from across the state will be stopping by their local Applebee’s locations to see their posters, meet guests, and help spread the word.
If Keene was any indication, the next few weeks are going to be full of laughter, photos, stories, and plenty of community spirit.
Upcoming Tip-A-Cop Nights include:
- Concord Applebee’s: May 28 & June 18
- Dover Applebee’s: June 18
- Keene Applebee’s: June 4
- Littleton Applebee’s: June 4
- Nashua Applebee’s: June 4
- North Conway Applebee’s: June 11
All events take place from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
More dates may still be added, and supporters can find the latest schedule on the SONH Calendar of Events.
So grab dinner, say hello to your local athletes and officers, snap a photo with the life-sized posters, and be part of something bigger than a night out.
Because across New Hampshire, Applebee’s isn’t just serving dinner right now.
It’s serving up community, inclusion, and opportunities for Special Olympics athletes to shine.
