50th State Summer Games

Join us as our athletes participate in the largest competition of the year.  Special Olympics New Hampshire will celebrate our golden anniversary of the State Summer Games Thursday, June 6th through Saturday, June 8th at the University of New Hampshire in Durham. Come and cheer our athletes on during this 2-day competition held at the University of New Hampshire.

This year’s Games will:

  • Offer competition in athletics, bocce, equestrian, powerlifting, sprint triathlon and swimming for nearly 800 athletes from across the state.
  • Include the first annual Unified Champion Middle School Championship which will bring over 200 new athletes, Unified Partners and volunteers to our State Summer Games.  
  • Kick off our 50th Anniversary celebrations at the Opening Ceremonies on Friday, June 7th.
  • Offer free health screenings and education to athletes in a welcoming, fun environment as part of the Healthy Athletes® program.  Screenings will be offered in: FUNfitness (physical therapy), Healthy Hearing (audiology), Special Olympics-Lions Clubs International Opening Eyes (vision) and Special Smiles (dentistry)

Volunteer

More than 1,200 volunteers are needed from Wednesday, June 5th to Sunday, June 9th to help run the Games.  Click here for more information and to register.
