
2025 State Softball Tournament

The Special Olympics New Hampshire State Softball Tournament is more than a day of competition — it’s a celebration of teamwork, determination, and the joy of sport.
This year, 10 teams from across New Hampshire and Connecticut will come together to compete in Unified Sports® slow-pitch softball and Individual Skills. Athletes of all abilities will step onto the field to demonstrate their talent, sportsmanship, and love of the game.
Tournament Highlights
- Unified Sports® Slow-Pitch Softball: Teams play in a round robin assessment, followed by medal-round tournaments.
- Individual Skills Competition: Athletes showcase their abilities in fielding, throwing, hitting, and base running — the building blocks of softball excellence.
- Home Run Derby: When athletes aren’t actively competing, they can swing for the fences in this fun side event open from 9:30am–2:00pm.
Schedule of Events
- 7:30am: AM Shift Volunteer Check-in
- 8:00am: Local Program Check-in / Volunteer & Management Team Meeting
- 8:30am: Assessment Games Begin
- 9:00am: Coaches Meeting
- 9:30am–2:00pm: Home Run Derby
- 11:00am: Individual Skills Check-in
- 11:30am: Individual Skills Competition
- 11:30am: PM Shift Volunteer Check-in
- 4:00pm: Conclusion of Tournament (approximate)
