How do I know if my child is eligible for Special Olympics?
Every person with an intellectual disability who is at least two years of age is eligible to participate in Special Olympics. Children ages 2-7 with and without disabilities are eligible to participate in Young Athletes. Students in middle school or high school are eligible to participate in Special Olympics Unified Champion Schools programming if their school offers it. In addition to UCS, or if their school doesn’t offer it, students may participate in Local Programs as well.
