Is there a calendar of events for LETR initiatives?
The Law Enforcement Torch Run® for Special Olympics (LETR) is a year-round partnership between law enforcement and Special Olympics that raises funds and awareness while championing inclusion for people with intellectual disabilities.
And despite the name, LETR is about much more than running. Here in New Hampshire, law enforcement professionals get involved throughout the year by volunteering at Special Olympics competitions, presenting awards to athletes, participating in fundraising events and, of course, carrying the Flame of Hope during the annual Torch Run.
Since 1984, New Hampshire law enforcement agencies and officials have been an important part of the Special Olympics New Hampshire community, serving as supporters, volunteers, mentors and friends to athletes across the state.
