Red Shirt Rookies

Students in kindergarten through second grade

Unified Sports

Eight week sessions meet weekly during the school day.  Participation focuses on introducing students to Unified Sports and skill development.  Each session culminates in a Play Day where local schools play against each other to show off their new skills to family and friends.
Sports offered include soccer in the fall, basketball in the winter and kickball in the spring.

Youth Leadership & Advocacy

Students form inclusive clubs to learn about Project UNIFY and training them to educate others.

Whole School Engagement

Schools host Fans in the Stands events or Spread the Word to End the Word campaigns, which inspires respect and acceptance through raising awareness about the R-word and how hurtful words and disrespect can be towards people with ID

Schools may apply for stipends to assist with funding of Project UNIFY for their first three years of participation.
