2014 State Summer Games

Join us Friday, May 30 and Saturday, May 31 as we celebrate the 45th State Summer Games at the University of New Hampshire in Durham. Athletes will compete in Aquatics, Athletics (Track & Field), Bocce, and Equestrian events.  Over 950 athletes took part in the 2013 Summer Games and we look forward to even more participation this year!  
Below is a run-down of the weekend's schedule.  PLEASE NOTE:  This schedule is subject to change.

Thursday, May 29th

    5:30 - 7:00 pm: Dinner
    6:00 - 7:00 pm: Mandatory Lead Persons Meeting
    7:00 - 8:00 pm: Mandatory Local Program Check-In

Friday, May 30th

    7:00 am - 8:30 am:  Breakfast
    7:30 am:  800 Meter Run/800 Meter Walk 
    9:00 am:  Parade Staging for Opening Ceremonies    
    9:30 am: Opening Ceremonies Begin - Parade of Athletes     
    11:30 am: Lunch                           
    12:30 pm: Aquatics, Bocce, Athletics (Track & Field) events begin
    5:30 pm:  All competition ends    
    6:00 pm - 7:00 pm:  Dinner
    6:00 pm-7:00 pm:  Athlete Input Council
    7:00 pm-8:30 pm:  Dance/Movie

Saturday, May 31st

    6:30 am-8:30 am: Breakfast
    7 am:  Track events begin
    9 am:  Aquatics and Field events begin
    9 am:  Equestrian check-in
    9:30 am:  Equestrian competition begins
    10:00 am-2:00 pm:  Law Enforcement Static Display
    10:00am-2:00 pm:  HEALTHY ATHLETES
    12:00 pm:  Lunch
    1:00 pm: Competition continues
    4:30 pm:  All competition ends

Join Special Olympics New Hampshire on September 27 in the beautiful Dartmouth-Lake Sunapee Region for the inaugural Rail Trail Run & Ride! This unique event features a variety of running and cycling races designed for everyone from families to the most avid athletes! We hope to see you there!
