Training
Special Olympics knows that giving people the tools to succeed is crucial to the successes of our organization. Because of this, Special Olympics New Hampshire offers training opportunities to our athletes and Local Program Volunteers.
Our athletes receive training on and off the field. Every competitive event requires sports training prior to the competition. Additionally, athletes have the opportunity to receive training in public speaking through the Global Messenger program.

Local Program Volunteers have opportunities to receive training and become certified Coaches in Special Olympics sports. Every Local Program Volunteer is also required to take the Protective Behaviors Training.
